Renzo Macelloni, born in 1950, has a long history of institutional and administrative activity behind him. He became Mayor of the Municipality of Peccioli, a town in the heart of Tuscany, in 1988 until 2004. In the decade 2004-2014 he held the position of President of Belvedere S.p.A., a company that has hosted and managed a MSW waste disposal plant since the early 1990s. From 2014 until today Renzo Macelloni is again Mayor of the Municipality of Peccioli. He is the creator and supporter of the Peccioli System (Municipality, Peccioliper Foundation, Belvedere S.p.A.) to promote the territory in the world and guarantee the quality of life of his fellow citizens.
